‘ I feel so depressed right now, I have tones of work to finish within a day. I am so stressful but I could hardly get myself some rest.’

‘ Ask your friends for help and you can finish them faster.’

Once before, a friend of mine told me about her conversation with her love one. In women’s point of view, they feel that they have lost their vehicle of communication when they get this kind of respond. However, for men, they think that this is the best care they can give to their love one. As what we can see, they are having the same thought, they just wanted to get and give some cares, but they express differently. This is what we said men and women speak different language.

‘ Hey babe, you know what? I went for shopping with my girlfriends just now; we have shopped for 5 hours without having any rest. At the end, I bought myself a pair of sandals and I love it so much. It was having terrible traffic jam at Ocean Road when we were on the way back. Luckily I managed to reach home on time.’

‘ So, what are you trying to say?’

I was so happy that day. What’s on my mind is the outing with her girlfriends. Hence, I would like to share her thought with my love one through language. Somehow, the guy’s respond had made me lost my passion to talk. The guy was wondering, ‘Why do women need to talk as much as they do? What’s their point actually? ’ He thinks that what I said is all the unnecessary stuff, so he stopped me through his language. This gender difference often leads to misunderstanding and can unintentionally hurt each other's feelings.

One day, parents and I were sitting on the breakfast desk having our brunch. As a housewife, mum was complaining about the bills, house cores and so on. Any unsatisfaction that came across mum’s mind directed her to speak it out through language. However, dad immediately spoke out his opinion and gave mum some solution but he was then being interrupted by mum’s complain again for not concerning about her. Dad thought that he was being blamed so he had his head buried in the newspaper. He turned his head to me and said ‘is that women complain all the time and don't want to do anything about it?’ I was shaking my head as men misunderstand the ritual nature of women's complaining. Mum was getting even frustrated when she got such respond from dad, she was upset. Hence, on the other day, mum tried it out with another way, ‘Honey, I need you to listen to something for me. I don't need your advice; I just want to share my feelings about this’. Surprisingly, dad put down his newspaper on hand and listened to mum with patience. Thought and language are directly connected, it is just they are expressing them in the different way.

Life would be simpler if we all spoke the same language. Not only do many of us speak completely different languages based on culture, but we also speak different languages based on gender. Neither style is better than the other; they’re just different. Women use language, just like men do, to make points and solve problems. However, they also use talking as a way of discovering what they want to say and what is in their mind. They think that language is the best way to express their thought. Sometimes they talk about their feelings in order to sort things out, as a means toward eventually feeling better. At other times, women feel a need to share and express their feelings; simply as they have a thought of this is a means to get closer, or to experience greater intimacy.

Men don't instinctively understand these various approaches, because men tend to use language primarily as a way of making points. When men talk about problems, they are generally looking for solutions. A man mistakenly assumes that when a woman talks about her feelings and problems, his role as a listener is to assist her in feeling better by offering her solutions. His overwhelming desire to help her is exactly what causes a woman to feel like she's not being listened to. It also causes her to feel like she is not important to him.

As a conclusion, understanding is what we should have when communicating with each other. Women need to understand that when men are aloof or do not communicate their feelings and thoughts, it is often simply because they function differently and not because they do not love their love partner. Men on the other hand need to understand that women need to generate feelings of unity and love through verbal communication. Men need to acknowledge women's feelings rather than find reasons why they shouldn't have them. Thought can direct language, and language can direct thought, but we can learn to direct them in a better way without hurting each other’s feeling.

accompanied my boy went to campus after the movie..
he decided to train back the Martial Art, so exercise needed before he starts his training~
when i saw he played those Martial Art, i thought back the time we first met each other..hoho..
do you believe i learnt martial art before?
yeah, you got to believe it, i'm a black belt student before nehx..
ok, not really proud tho..adui~

we met each other few years ago, from the different school..but we sometimes we did trained together when we were going for some performance..
till 2 years++ ago, we met again, in the same school~!!
whee~ not going to eloborate more, just thanks to Martial Art, we get to know each other, till now~
and in the future of course..hehe~ XD
